The maintenance-friendly garden, but the natural version. A green garden that is not exactly precise, but a garden with fifty shades of green where not only the owners are overjoyed  to become, but also  the soil life, the rainwater, the insects and of course the birds.

The garden adjoins the kitchen of the house, where the clients spend a lot of time with the children, family and friends. Because the view to the garden is very prominent through the large windows, the focus of the design was very much on the view from the inside to the outside. Modern, with lots of greenery, was the question I went home with.

When you hear about 'an ecological garden', people quickly think that the garden will become one big wilderness. But this is far from true. Almost all of my garden designs are ecologically sound, as is the design for this garden.

The owners share this modern garden with nature. Trees, hedges, grass, perennials and ornamental grasses provide a natural and calm appearance that is also insect-friendly. The green is combined with clean lines that find their way to the back of  the garden. Modern materials such as concrete, Padouk hardwood and light flagstones  care along with the built-in  Jacuzzi for a luxurious look. It is a pleasure to look at the garden and it is a pleasure to sit in the garden!
